“ We stayed in Maison De La Calonne - Such a delightful characterful property, situated in an outstanding town. The architecture is quite captivating. Local people couldn’t be friendlier. Every one we met were joyful and pleasant, our very limited French was not an issue, local welcomed us. The property is quirky, and benefits from a useful ground floor cloakroom with Meile Washer. The river and outside BBQ area has a great socialising, games, bar, chill out private & separate annex, we loved spending time in there too. The main house has three bedrooms with top quality linen in all bedrooms, as well as new comfortable mattresses that we appreciated as this is very important. The spiral staircase was not a challenge, as it adds to the fascinating authenticity of the vacation home. Our son took regular runs into the county side and we walked locally too, out of the front door you can access the fields and pathways in under 2 mins. The Friday market has to be experienced A* and Honfleur must not be missed. We will return to taste more Crepes from Creperie Mont Mirel and breads from Maison Coesnon. You must not miss a tour of Busnel Distillery and a tasting of course - plus some purchases, we brought their own Calvados Whisky as well as Calvados Pomme, delicious. Recommended, and we would love to return soon. Crepes at Creperie Bar du Mont-Mirel are the best we have ever had and the loverly ladies in the restaurant are amazing, with our limited French they we delightfully kind to us and patient. I can’t wait to return. Thank you beautiful women. ”

I LOVED the lemon crepe and has now changed me. :) This restaurant had so much character, warm environment, friendly staff (as well as fellow patrons), and incredible food.
